Terms & Conditions For Booking Makeup Services

Thank you for choosing ZROVA Makeup & Hair.
By booking any makeup or hair service through our website, social platforms, or direct communication, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to protect both our clients and our business while ensuring a professional and seamless service experience.

Bookings & Deposits:

  • All wedding and event makeup or hair bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure the requested date and time.
  • The deposit amount is typically 30% of the total booking value and will be deducted from your final invoice.
  • Once your deposit is received, a confirmation of your booking will be issued.
  • The remaining balance must be paid prior to or on the day of your appointment before services commence.
  • Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
  • For non-wedding or standard bookings, partial or full payment may be required depending on the nature of the service and availability.
  • Once the deposit has been paid, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined under the Terms and Conditions set out by ZROVA Makeup & Hair on this website.

Payment Methods:

  • Payments may be made via Bank Transfer, PayID, or Cash.
  • Any outstanding balance not settled on time may result in cancellation of services without refund of the deposit.

Trials:

  • Makeup or hair trials are charged separately and must be paid in full on the day of the trial appointment.
  • Trials are subject to availability and are intended to refine the final look only.
  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a trial appointment.

Cancellations:

  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable in the case of a Cancellation.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours' prior to your appointment notice will forfeit the deposit.
  • Travel and group booking deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another date, incase of cancellation.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows:

I strive to maintain a punctual schedule, and to not put other appointments behind. All appointments have a 7-10 minute grace period that is set aside if you are running a few minutes late.

  • If your service is shortened due to your late arrival,you will still be charged the full cost of service.
  • ZROVA Makeup & Hair is not responsible for delays caused by the client or third parties.
  • No-shows will forfeit any payments made.

Pricing & Service Adjustments:

  • Prices quoted are based on the information provided at the time of booking.
  • Any changes to the number of clients, service requirements, hair length, extensions may result in additional charges.
  • Excessively thick or long hair, or hair not prepared as agreed may incur extra styling fees, payable on the day.

Travel:

  • We are a mobile Makeup & Hair team — we come to your home, hotel, or venue.
  • Travel fees apply for on-location services and vary based on distance.

Destination Bookings:

For destination weddings or interstate bookings, clients are required to cover reasonable travel, accommodation, and transport costs for the artist. It can be discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking.

Early Start & Public Holiday Surcharges:

  • Early morning bookings with a start time before 7am incur a surcharge.
  • Public holidays may incur additional surcharges. These fees will be disclosed at the time of booking.

Client Responsibilities:

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their skin and hair are clean and prepared as advised prior to the appointment.
  • Any known allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or skin concerns must be disclosed before services commence.
  • Failure to disclose relevant information releases ZROVA Makeup & Hair from liability for any reactions.

Health, Hygiene & Refusal of Service:

For health and safety reasons, ZROVA Makeup & Hair reserves the right to refuse service to any client presenting with contagious conditions, open wounds, infections, or unsanitary conditions that pose a risk to artists or equipment. In such cases, no refunds or credits will be issued.

Photos & Marketing:

  • ZROVA Makeup & Hair reserves the right to use any event/wedding photographs for portfolio, website and/or social media with your permission.
  • If you prefer us not to use images, please advise us in writing before your event.
  • We love when our work is shared! Please remember to credit ZROVA Makeup & Hair when posting professional photos online.

Artist Availability:

In the unlikely event that ZROVA Makeup & Hair is unable to fulfil a booking due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, we reserve the right to reschedule, arrange a suitable replacement artist, or provide a refund of payments made. No further liability will be accepted.

Changes to Terms & Conditions:

  • ZROVA Makeup & Hair reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
  • The most current version will always be available on our website.
  • Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
